| We flew to Honolulu via Seattle....a very long day, arriving at The Hyatt, Waikiki Beach at 11pm local having left Lindford at 8am local (Hawaii 10 hours behind UK) and ready for a good nights sleep and the start of our cruise tomorrow.... |

| Before joining our NCL cruise ship we have a tour of Honolulu and Pearl Harbor... This is the iconic statue of King Kamehameha in front of the Aliiolani Hale, The Hawaii State Supreme Court.... King Kamehameha united the Hawaiian Islands into one royal kingdom in 1810 after years of conflict....we will hear more about the culture and history of the islands on various tours later in the week.. |

| The USS Arizona Memorial built over the remains of the sunken battleship and the final resting place of over 1000 crewmen killed on the 7th December 1941.... |

| Oil is still seeping up from the Arizona creating beautiful patterns on the surface of the water...a very moving and poignant visit.... |

| A beautiful bird of paradise blooming in the 17 acre grounds of the park.... Back onto our tour coach and the short ride to our cruise boat the NCL Pride of America and our cruise of the Hawaiian Islands.... Time to unpack pre Happy Hour in the Goldrush Bar....
